Rowing machines are one of the best
ways of providing a full body work-out but rowers never seem to
be as popular as other exercise machines. One of the reasons for this
is the unfamiliarity of the exercise motion of a rowing machine
Because the body is not used to using these muscle to keep fir,
you will need to exercise more rowing machine until the body get
used to it.
To
get the best out of the rower you should for 20 minutes or more but
unless you train with weights, your upper body will not be as strong as your
legs and you will have to build up the strength in your upper body
gently.
Once you reach
this stage a rowing machine will give you the best workout of any
exercise machine you can buy. If you have knees or
back problems, check with your GP before using a rower.
Rowing machines have different forms of resistance.
Air and water rowing machines are superior but expensive,
pistons and magnets are more affordable.
